Harry takes Chelsy lookalike to his pad at 3.15am

PRINCE Harry spent the night partying with a stunning blonde pal of brother William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton.

He was clubbing till 3am yesterday with Astrid Harbord, 27. Then he took her back to his Clarence House flat.

Astrid has met his ex Chelsy Davy—and is also a dead ringer for her. A source said: “They were all over each other.”

Harry knows how to treat a girl— after a night partying on the town with stunning Astrid it was straight back to the royal residence for even more fun.

The romantic ending to the couple’s Friday night date came just weeks after he was dumped by long-term lover Chelsy Davy.

Harry invited blonde Astrid into his palatial Clarence House home at 3.15am yesterday.

Accompanied by Scotland Yard bodyguards, the pair were driven in through the rear entrance, reserved for the royal family, just minutes after leaving a Chelsea club together.

Astrid, 27, is the first woman the 24-year-old soldier Prince has been linked to since the News of the World revealed Chelsy ditched him over his playboy antics.

Our revelations will come as a blow to Zimbabwe-born Chelsy. Last week we revealed how she had tried to rebuild bridges with the prince by inviting him on a pub crawl around Leeds where she is studying.

Astrid—whose family home is the magnificent £1.6 million Prospect House in picturesque Wiltshire village of East Knoyle—has a reputation as a “hardcore” party girl along with her sister Davina.

Harry has been told to put in extra studying after flunking his first big test to become an Army Air Corps combat helicopter pilot.

But he put the manuals away for a night of fun with lovely Astrid.

Earlier on Friday evening Harry had partied at one of his favourite London haunts, Whisky Mist in the Park Lane Hilton, run by his pal promotions executive Guy Pelly, also a friend of Astrid.

From there he was taken a few miles to Raffles nightclub in the Kings Road where he and Astrid were spotted laughing and joking together.

A source there revealed: “The two of them were all over each other.

“There was certainly a connection there and they seemed to be having a great time.

“Then around 3am as the place closed they left with Harry’s minders in tow and got into the back of the royal car. Astrid was in the middle, sandwiched by the prince and his personal protection officer.

“Harry looked a little irritated and his cheeks were flushed red but Astrid seemed very happy.”

The car headed straight for Clarence House, Prince Charles’s London residence, where Harry and Wills both have flats. B

Uniformed officers of the Royal Protection Department were radioed ahead and opened the rear gate as the car swept around the corner from The Mall.

And the couple had the place to themselves—Dad Charles and stepmum Camilla were away at Highgrove.

Nobody was seen leaving Clarence House for several hours. Strict security rules require anyone visiting to clear their name with the duty police officer on arrival.

And when it’s time to go they must be escorted and signed out at the police office.

Astrid, who lives in Chelsea, has become a well-known face among Harry and William’s close circle of friends over recent months.

Although she has mixed with Harry’s ex Chelsy at social events the two girls are not understood to be close.

But Astrid was photographed with William’s 27-year-old girlfriend Kate Middleton wincing ringside as blows were landed and then laughing and joking at the Boodles charity boxing match in June last year.

In December—when the prince’s five-year relationship with Chelsy was on the rocks— Harry and Astrid enjoyed a night out together attending a party at Kensington Roof Gardens.

According to the toffs’ bible, Tatler’s Little Black Book, party-loving Astrid and her sister are known as ‘The Hardcore Sisters’.

They are renowned for packing in up to EIGHT holidays a year—often to Ibiza—and hosting fabulous house parties.

And she won’t have any trouble keeping up with Harry in the bar. As a student at Bristol University Astrid boasted of her alcohol intake.

She told a newspaper website: “We’ll probably drink half a bottle of white wine a day in an average week, maybe more. We’re recovering at the moment after a huge drinking session in the K Bar for a friend’s 21st birthday party last night.

“It was a big night out—we had a bottle of wine, two sambucas and quite a bit of champagne in a restaurant.

“I can’t remember much after that but it involved large amounts of vodka and cranberry juice. I lost my wallet and my friend lost her cardigan.

“Now we’ve got to get ready for a drinks party tonight.”

And after university Tatler magazine said: “Astrid’s the coolest blonde to leave Bristol since Jemima Khan.”

Earlier she attended posh public school Tudor Hall, near Banbury, Oxford, where the boarding fees set parents back £23,000 a year.

Astrid’s close friends include Prince and Princess Michael of Kent’s playboy son Lord Freddie Windsor and Wills’ entrepreneur pal Jamie Murray Wells.

And her father is Charles Harbord who runs the weekly newsletter ‘Cars for the Connoisseur’.

He writes about old racing cars and interviews legends of the track. He also has a successful sideline organising holidays for budding artists at a golf club close to Lagos in Portugal.

But he only reveals his real talent after dinner parties at the family’s spread—when he demonstates his tap-dancing skills for guests.
