CHELSEA will study Robinho’s form over the next month — to decide whether to bid for the Brazilian this summer.
The Blues missed out on Robinho, 25, when he joined Manchester City from Real Madrid in a shock £32.5m switch on transfer deadline day.
But Chelsea have...
...never given up on the Samba star and previous boss Big Phil Scolari tried again in January.
Despite Scolari’s sacking, Chelsea have stayed on Robinho’s trail but Blues officials, including owner Roman Abramovich, were shocked by Robinho’s poor display in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at Chelsea.
A Blues source said: “Robinho has to pull his finger out otherwise he can forget about any move.”
But City boss Mark Hughes says Robinho is being unfairly singled out for his side’s poor form.
Robinho has failed to score in eight outings and City are just six points above the relegation zone.
But Hughes said: “Robinho’s general performances have been good.
"He’s scored 11 league goals and had a real impact. All our attackers struggled against Chelsea so it is unfair to pinpoint him.”
