RIHANNA has fled to Mexico to escape the CHRIS BROWN furore. The pop beauty - who was allegedly assaulted by ex boyfriend Brown earlier this month - was spotted looking downcast as she relaxed poolside at a private villa in Pinta Mita last weekend.
Despite her sad, troubled appearance, a bikini-clad Rihanna bore no visible signs of the injuries she sustained in the reported attack, which police described as "horrific".
A snap of her battered face was posted on the internet soon after her alleged bust-up with Brown in their car in Los Angeles on February 8.
Brown is charged on suspicion of making criminal threats. He is said to have attended his first anger class early this week in Glendale.
