JADE Goody will have a special pouch sewn into her wedding dress to store painkillers. The dying star will have a specially-made compartment in her 3,500 gown - which was a gift from Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed - to stash the drugs to help see her through the Sunday ceremony, when she will wed Jack Tweed.
Her publicist Max Clifford revealed on GMTV that 27-year-old Jade had been resting at her Upshire home since leaving the hospital yesterday morning but that she was happy to be back.
Max said: "Anybody that knows Jade knows what a determined young lady she is.
"And of course the hospital have given her everything to try to control the pain as best as it’s possible to.
"There’s even going to be a special pouch in her wedding dress for pain killers, so that hopefully that will help her during her big day."
Max explained how much there has been to in order to prepare for the ceremony, but added: "It gives her something to think about and something to focus on. And more important – something to look forward to."
And he also revealed that Jade may do a final documentary with Piers Morgan after the wedding.
He explained: "We are in discussions to do a final documentary – an interview with Piers Morgan, who’s she’s known for a long time – and she’s very keen to do it, providing she’s well enough to do it.
"But all this talk about filming her dying – it’s never happened and it wouldn’t happen, and personally I find it incredibly offensive.
"We will film with Jade, maybe an interview with Piers, there might be an interview with a paper or a magazine – if she wants to do it and if she’s well enough to do it in the weeks ahead.
"But it’s very much down to Jade and how she is and what she wants to do. She enjoys doing an interview, she enjoys having her photo taken when she’s up to it, it gives her, as I say, something else to think about.
"And of course, it’s a world that she’s been in the centre of since 2002, and a world that she’s absolutely loved since she was first in Big Brother. You know, that’s Jade and that’s what she is, and that’s what she wants to do, and that’s the most important thing – respecting her wishes."
And Jade is also said to be pleased that her public heartbreak has prevented other women going through the same thing, after recently released figures show 20 per cent more young women are having cervical cancer smear tests.
He added: "She said to me, ‘It’s too late for me Max, but hopefully me coming out and saying this will mean it won’t be too late for lots of other girls out there.'"
Today Jack was spotted leaving his home clutching two passports - presumably his and Jade's - and some paperwork, thought to be in preparation for the wedding, before arriving at Jade's house.
Bishop Jonathan Blake, who made headlines himself last week being arrested for photographing his children sitting on a rooftop, also visited Jade's home to discuss the plans for the big day.
Meanwhile, new clips released from Jade’s new Living TV documentary, which airs tonight, saw her talking about Jack’s reaction to her bald head.
Speaking before he was released from prison, she told viewers: -I’ve lost more hair since you last saw me. I’m practically bald now and I look like one of those newborn chicks.
-When I visited Jack in prison I lifted up my scarf and he got quite choked and said it was too much for him to see it – he thought it makes it all real.
-I just made a joke of it and said ‘stop crying you three girls’ because two of his mates were there and they were getting upset. I was like ‘You’re going to get beaten up in a minute by a convict for being a woman.
Another preview shows the star looking at photos of herself in the News of the World, revealing her fully bald head for the first time.
She said: -I wanted to make sure that the first picture there was of me with a bald head looked nice, rather than it being me taking out my rubbish or something.
