I will give Jade a magical day

/ On : sábado, febrero 21, 2009/
DEVOTED Jack Tweed last night promised to turn his wedding into a “magical” day for tragic bride Jade Goody.

The 21-year-old will tie the knot with Jade tomorrow, knowing it may be only weeks before cancer cruelly claims her life.

He said as he bought wedding day shoes for the Big Brother star’s two young sons: “I’m really looking forward to it in a very big way.

“I can’t wait for us to get married and it’s been a really exciting time.

“I love Jade more than anything and this is all we both want. It’s going to be the best day of my life.

“I know how hard the next few weeks will be and I know I’ll be fighting back tears as she walks down the aisle.

“But I’m going to make it a magical day for my Jade.”

Jack spoke as a poignant photo emerged of Jade in a wedding dress, veil and earrings as she dreamed of being a bride at the age of three.

The little girl could only have imagined the excitement of a real marriage when she was snapped on the sofa of her family home in Bermondsey, South East London.

Sympathy

And her family could never have guessed she would eventually wed under such terrible circumstances at only 27.

Jack proposed to Jade eight days ago after doctors told her they were powerless to stop her cancer spreading.

The pair will become man and wife in a ceremony at Down Hall country manor in Hatfield Heath, Essex, watched by 150 guests.

All the male guests have been asked to wear blue. And the wedding party will tuck into a three-course meal, beginning with duck and pink champagne.

Jade, robbed of her hair by chemotherapy, has opted for “pretty in pink” cupcakes and a giant macaroon instead of a traditional wedding cake.

The Sun revealed on Thursday how Jack was told his 7am-7pm curfew — part of his probation after his early release from prison — would be suspended so he could spend his wedding night with his new bride.

And Justice Secretary Jack Straw officially lifted it yesterday. He said: “It is crucial that offenders are treated equally within the rules, regardless of the publicity surrounding their case.

“But I was satisfied that it was reasonable to allow this.”

An aide said: “Jack has enormous sympathy for Jade and her family at this time. She is showing extraordinary courage.”

Groom Jack said: “I’m over the moon the tag’s being relaxed. It’s going to be brilliant.”

Jack, a part-time model, will have a “small” stag do tonight with ten pals at his mum’s home in Buckhurst Hill, Essex.

He yesterday went for drinks with his two ushers after picking up their suits for the wedding in London.

Jade, mum to boys Bobby, five, and Freddie, four, registered her marriage at Epping Forest register office yesterday. She entered her profession as an entrepreneur.

A steady stream of flowers and cards were delivered to Jade’s home yesterday — with one bouquet believed to be from Robbie Williams.

Guests invited to the wedding include TV’s Richard and Judy, Jonathan Ross and Tottenham ace Jamie O’Hara. Down Hall boasts high ceilings dripping with sparkling chandeliers, grand stone pillars and ornate furniture.

After exchanging vows shortly after noon, Jade and Jack will sign the wedding book in the Prior Suite.

Then the newlyweds and their guests will begin the three-course meal, whose main course of beef will be topped off with a hazelnut meringue dessert.

A magazine has paid £750,000 to cover the bash at the 16th-century venue, where weddings can cost in the region of £20,000.

Down Hall bosses are believed to have given brave Jade a discounted rate.

Shelby Rolls, from Southgate in North London, brought flowers and a card congratulating Jade and Jack.

Shelby’s mum Danielle Prior said: “I think Jade’s great. She’s a brilliant mother to the kids and she’s a great role model.”

Jade’s Living TV documentary on Thursday night drew a record 709,000 audience for the channel.

Wasn't 3 sweet

A CHEEKY grin lights up Jade’s face as she poses for a wedding snapshot — aged THREE.

She couldn’t wait to show off her fairytale dress, veil and earrings to all the grown-ups.

Jade even mimicked modelling gestures with her hands as she giggled in front of the camera.

She had her life ahead of her then. Now she has so little time.
